Scarce WW2 Japanese Naval Officer's captured Katana in naval service mounts and with laquered sayer (scabbard). The blade retaining most polish, good hamon (temper line) and signature to tang. The furniture including the ray skin grip and tsuba (guard) is of WW2 service pattern and is all numbered with No.'30'. One scabbard ring appears to have been replaced. Overall length 98cms
