Terms and Conditions of Purchase
In placing an order, the buyer agrees to the following Terms and Conditions for the supply of Leons Militaria Ltd products.
Your contract with Leons Militaria Ltd
We must receive full payment for the price of the goods plus delivery charges before your order can be dispatched and the contract formed. Legal title to the items remains with Leons Militaria Ltd until dispatch. If you do not agree with our terms then please feel free to shop elsewhere.

Pricing
The prices advertised in any Leons Militaria Ltd marketing information, are subject to change and can be altered without notice.
Delivery prices can vary at the discretion of Leons Militaria Ltd and are different for every worldwide region. Delivery prices include Leons Militaria Ltd packaging and administration costs. If you have requested insurance for your items, this will be added to the price. We recommend that you insure all purchases as the item becomes your property on dispatch. It may not be possible for us to deliver to some locations.
All orders from any country will be charged in pounds sterling.
Delivery charges will vary depending on type of courier, country of delivery, weight of package and insurance required.
Customs Charges
We do not charge any customs duties on International shipments. If any additional customs charges are incurred during your shipment, they are not the responsibility of Leons Militaria Ltd.
We cannot be held responsible for International taxes or levies charged for your order. Neither are we responsible for delays that occur due to import/export processes out of our control.
VAT
Prices payable for goods that you order are inclusive of VAT where appropriate.
The sales tax charged on your purchase is based on all applicable taxes related to your shipping address.
Availability
There is no guarantee on how long it will take us to ship your order. Your payment must have cleared in our account before your order is shipped. We ship orders 5 days a week (Monday to Friday).
Items in stock on the website will normally be shipped within 24 hours of cleared payment where possible.
Payment
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Maestro/Debit cards, AMEX, Bank Transfers, Cheques, Cash and Bankers Drafts. Orders will not be dispatched until payment has been taken and cleared.
Orders made on this website will be limited to credit/debit card and bank account payments. Other payments should be made either in person, over the phone or by email.
Lay Away Plan
All Items will be reserved until payment has been taken and cleared and the item/s dispatched, or for 3 working days (which ever comes first). However items can be reserved for longer with a 25% deposit and the balance paid within a 12-week period. During this 12-week period Leons Militaria Ltd will store all item/s. There are no interest or extra charges included in this scheme but a minimum purchase of £500 applies. In the event of cancellation of an order before the balance has been paid the deposit of 25% will be non-refundable. Please note that in the event of a currency fluctuation during this 12-week period Leons Militaria Ltd reserves the right to recalculate the balance in our favour.
The Lay Away Plan is not available on orders placed on the website. Please contact Leons Militaria Ltd either in person, over the phone or by email.
The Lay Away plan must be agreed in writing and will only be operative from the receipt and clearance of the deposit.
Amending Your Order
Once the shipping process has begun no changes can be made.
To amend the order at any other time please contact Leons Militaria Ltd either in person, over the phone or by email.
Withdrawal from the contract
We reserve the right to cancel any contract should we discover errors or inaccuracies regarding goods on our web site or advertisements.
There are certain circumstances in which you may withdraw from the contract the circumstances are detailed below and do not affect your statutory rights.
Cooling off period – UK Website purchasers
You may withdraw your order for goods at any time up to the end of the seventh working day beginning on the day after receipt of the goods.
If you wish to exercise your right to the 7 day cooling off period, please send written confirmation no later than the end of the seventh day of receipt of the goods to:
“Returns department” at the above relevant contact office or by email at the above relevant contact email address. If you have not had an acknowledgement, please telephone as Leons Militaria Ltd cannot be held liable for failures of post, fax or email.
Once you have notified us of cancellation of your order and we have agreed that you meet the conditions of the cooling off period we will ask you to return the goods and provide you with a returns reference number (we will not accept any return without the relevant returns reference number). Provided that the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you (unless agreed otherwise in writing). We will re-credit your account with the full amount agreed within 30 days.
Due to the nature of the products, if there is any disassembly, adjustment or tampering with items in any way, Leons Militaria Ltd reserves the right to refuse refunds.
Post the goods you want to return together with a copy of you original invoice. Please include details of reasons for the return and your returns reference number.
Unfortunately we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of returned items. We recommend an insured recorded delivery service.
If you exercise your right to cancellation you will be responsible for reasonable care and return of the product. You will be responsible for the cost of insurance, posting and packing. In the event of an item being damaged in the post during its return, Leons MIltiaria Ltd will not be liable. The product must be returned within 14 days. If the product is not returned then Leons Militaria Ltd may arrange to collect the goods but will deduct the cost of recovery from the refund total.
If you cancel your order but you have not yet received your goods, you must not open the goods when they are received by you and you must send the goods back to the Leons Militaria Ltd with the original seal intact at your own cost and risk within 14 days. If the product is not returned Leons Militaria Ltd may arrange to collect the goods but will deduct the cost of recovery from the refund total.
Damaged, incorrect and faulty goods
If your goods are damaged, incorrect or not as described you must notify Leons Militaria Ltd within 3 days of receipt of your order at the contact details below. If your goods are faulty you must notify Leons Militaria Ltd as soon as the fault is discovered at:

Once you have notified us that your goods are damaged, incorrect, or not as discribed, or faulty we will wish to inspect the goods and we will ask you to return the goods and provide you with a returns reference number (we will not accept any return without the relevant returns reference number). Provided that the goods in question are returned by you and received by us within 14 days and in the condition they were in when delivered to you (unless agreed otherwise in writing), we will inspect the delivered product in relation to the relevant problem. If we then agree a full or part refund your account will be re-credited with the full amount agreed within 30 days. If we agree an exchange or replacement you will receive the exchange or replacement within 30 days.
Due to the nature of the products, if there is any disassembly or tampering with items Leons Militaria Ltd reserves the right to refuse an exchange, replacement, full or part refund.
How to return items for inspection
Post the goods you want to return together with a copy of you original invoice, please include details of reasons for the return, any fault details where appropriate and your returns reference number.
Unfortunately we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of returned items. We recommend an insured recorded delivery service.
If you exercise your right to return for the purposes of inspection then you will be responsible for reasonable care and return of the product, including the expense of returning the product. The product must be returned within 14 days. If the product is not returned then Leons Militaria Ltd may arrange to collect the goods but will deduct the cost of recovery from the refund total.
Delivery of order to you
We will deliver the goods to the invoice address you gave us. If you wish to have the items sent to a different delivery address it will have to be agreed before placing the order.
Delivery will be made as soon as possible after your order is accepted and payment has cleared. All delivery times quoted are estimates only, based on availability, administration time and delivery companies.
We will always deliver your order in full unless agreed otherwise.
If the goods delivered are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, you must notify us in writing at the Leons Militaria Ltd contact address or email address (above) within 3 working days of the delivery of goods.
Dispatch can be confirmed through enquiry. If you do not receive goods ordered by you within 30 days from the date on which they were dispatched you must notify us in writing at the Leons Militaria Ltd contact address or email address (above) of the problem within 40 days of the date on which the goods were dispatched to you.
We will not be held responsible for damaged, defective, late or non-delivered orders caused by any circumstance out of our reasonable control.
All products will be packaged to the highest standard to prevent damage during transit
United States exclusions
De-activated current calibre weapons cannot be posted to the United States. Although legal for Leons Militaria Ltd to export them from the United Kingdom it is against U.S. Federal Law to import them into the United States. However this generally does not apply to antiques/obsolete calibre firearms even in full working order. We regret that we cannot be held responsible for anything impounded by customs.
It is the responsibility of the buyer to do the appropriate Due Dilligence checks with the appropriate Customs dept.

Anything stated or represented by us in relation to authorship, attribution, condition, provenances, history, background, style, or authenticity whether in writing or orally is only an expression of our opinion. Our opinions are honestly given, with appropriate skill and care as is reasonable.
Save that any description or opinion is honestly given, we neither make nor agree to any contractual promise, undertaking, obligation, guarantee, warranty, or representation of fact in relation to any such description or opinion or in relation to the accuracy of anything stated in or represented by any expression of that descripion or opinion.
Buyers are very much recommended to visit us and examine an item themselves before purchase.
Variations in agreement
These terms and conditions, together with the current product pricing, delivery details and costs, set out the whole contract to our consumers. These terms and conditions cannot be varied except in writing signed by a director of Leons Militaria Ltd. In particular nothing said by any sales person on behalf of Leons Militaria Ltd should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions.
We will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or compensation arising out of any problem related to Leons Militaria Ltd.
This contract gives rights only to the person who was originally listed as the invoice party.
Copyright
All photographs and copy on the Leons Militaria Ltd website are the property of Leons Militaria Ltd and are not to be reproduced without prior permission. Any person/s reproducing any of the images or copying and re-using them, without our written permission, either in hard copy print or electronically via websites will have legal action taken against them. We vigorously protect our copyright.
Interpretation within these terms and conditions
”We” means Leons Militaria Ltd or leonsmiltiaria.com at the above address.
”Working day” means every day of a calendar year apart from weekends and statutory and public holidays.
“You” and “your” means the person ordering goods under these terms and conditions.
