Rare Georgian tap-action double-barrelled, box lock flintlock coach/overcoat pistol by Twigg, London. Part of a private collection, this pistol has retained approx 85% case hardened finish. Turn off, 44bore barrels with good crisp proofs to body. Slab sided walnut butt with top safety catch to tap action, box lock breech. Good engraved cartouches to both sides of body signed and with stands of flags. Action of sear not holding on cocking but otherwise very good and all in untouched original condition.
