A scarce Luftwaffe short model K98 dedicated bayonet by Eickhorn. The motto reads 'Bur Erinnerung un meine Dienstzeit' (in rememberance of my service) on the very bright blade with the Luftwaffe eagle motif and foliate decoration enclosed on an etched tablet on the front, with the trademark to the reverse. Cross-hatched composition grips and single hooked quillion with some slight losses to the nickel plating around the top. The painted scabbard with some losses of finish not effecting the overall look. Overall length 34.5cms
